4 Hilarious Shows You Need to Watch On Netflix
One nice thing about working from/staying home is that we now have the ability to binge watch all the series we never had the time for.
You can have Netflix playing in the background of work, chores, or even right in front of you as you lay on the couch â just because you can. If you feel like youâre running out of things to watch, fear not!
Make yourself a drink (check out our last post on some fun quarantine cocktails to make), cozy up on the couch, and check out these four hilarious shows on Netflix to watch all in one sitting (or not):
How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)
A German comedy, this 6-episode series follows Moritz Zimmerman, a nerdy sweetheart as he starts selling drugs to get his girlfriend back â seriously. By utilizing social media and his genius best friend's brain, weâre able to follow him on an insane ride through Rinslen, Germany as he rediscovers friendship, love, and the wild, wild world of MDMA.
The Inbetweeners
Who doesnât love a show that brings us back to our good olâ high school days? Set in England, The Inbetweeners follows four painfully awkward friends as they navigate through bullies, hot girls, overly enthusiastic parents, and their own filthy teenage mindsets. This series is insanely raunchy, probably not safe for work, and the episodes are the perfect length: not too short, not almost an hour. The bad part? Itâs only three seasons long :(
Sex Education
Apparently, I have a thing for European TV shows. Sex Education also follows the awkward and insecure Otis Milburn, who takes on the secret role of âsex advice-giverâ for his peers. His mom is a professional sex counselor, so while he knows a thing or two, thereâs far more that he has no idea about that he has no choice but to learn about now. Whatâs cool about Sex Education is that we follow not only Otisâ story, but his best friend Ericâs time with being more open about his sexuality, his love interest Maeveâs life at home, and even the school bully Adamâs time as a misunderstood kid who is afraid to show his true colors. The humor is great and I just love catching onto British lingo. Iâm proper excited that this showâs 3rd season is already on its way!
Workin' Moms
Set in Toronto, Workinâ Moms shares the story of four on-the-go, hilariously big personality women who juggle motherhood, their careers, family, social life, and their own personal goals. The show is split up into four seasons (the fourth season just released) and you'll find yourself rooting for all of them at some point. The show is very modern and takes subtle stabs at the unrealistic expectations of mothers (and women in general) in todayâs society, all while being gut-wrenchingly funny.
Sometimes, a show doesn't need to be anything more than simply a laugh & a distraction.
If you've been in the mood to relax and let out a laugh, nothing's better than a good ol' show (especially a show you can binge watch in one sitting!). Allow yourself to have some time to enjoy yourself! During the pandemic, we should all be taking the time to simply do nothing.

Tangie
The Netflix show that keeps me laughing is Schitt$ Creek. I know Iâm late, but I never got a chance to watch on Pop. I only watched the 1 sea 1st episode and that was it. Pop didnât offer OnDemand at the time, so I was out of luck. I liked it but work and parental duties kept me from watching. Iâm now on the 5th season and hoping for a 6 th season. Iâve also discovered Kath and Kim. Its an Australian sitcom. Itâs hilarious and Iâm learning lots of Australian slang. đ
