Have a plain coffee mug just laying around in the house? Now's the time to bring it out and get creative. Give your mug a little bit of personality by customizing it! If you want to keep it simple, all you need is a Sharpie paint marker and an oven and you are good to go.

If you're feeling bold and you want to get a little more creative, you can bring out some nail polish and setting spray to give your mug a little more color and vibrancy. The possibilities are endless when it comes to the design. You can draw a full picture, or write names on it and give to your friends as a gift.

Summer is almost here and that means more time outside! One of the best things to wake up to during the lazy summer days is the sound of beautiful birds chirping. If you're a fan of our feathered friends, something great to have in your yard is a bird feeder.

One of the best things about bird feeders is that you can make them look however you want, and you can make them out of mostly anything lying around your house. There are a lot of simple bird feeders that you can make out of plastic bottles, but if you have some extra time and want to really get artistic with it, there are other kinds you can make instead.

Here's our favorite DIY bird feeder project! Click here.
